After crossing the rural surroundings of Tiobre, we enter the medieval city of Betanzos, a magical place guarded by the rivers Mandeo and Mendo and declared a historic-artistic ensemble in 1970. Since the Middle Ages, it has borne witness to the many pilgrims who choose the English Way on their spiritual journey to Compostela.
