The route starts at the Ponte Vella, following the banks of the River Mandeo, and reaches Campo dos Caneiros, a legendary place where a popular pilgrimage is held on 18 and 25 August. The walk can be extended to the natural area of Chelo (CoirĂ³s), home to the River Mandeo visitor centre.
