The Betanzos Town Council occupies several buildings in the town. The Liceo Building houses the Mayor's Office, Registry, Civil Registry, Economic Services, Human Resources, Urban Planning, and Festivals. The Casa Consistorial houses Culture, Sport, Linguistic Standardisation, and the Historic Centre. The García Hermanos Schools building houses the Department of Social Services and Equality. The former convent of Santo Domingo houses the Library, Municipal Archives, Museum, Youth Information Office, and Computer Room.
