The Alfonsetti Theatre-Cinema is a theatre located in the centre of the town. It was inaugurated in 1882 and for more than one hundred years it operated as a cinema, becoming the oldest cinema venue in Spain. Today the theatre is municipally owned, although for much of its history it was managed by the Pita family. The theatre is housed in a building that formerly contained the convent of San Domingos, which also accommodates the Museo das Mariñas, the Municipal Archive and the municipal library.
