Parish Church of San Esteban de Piadela

Parish Church of San Esteban de Piadela

16th-century church with a single nave, of undefined style, featuring interesting volumes and a distinctive bell tower integrated into the façade.

This is a 16th-century church with no clearly defined style. It has a rectangular ground plan with a single nave. Inside, the transitional space between the presbytery and the nave is defined by a triumphal arch. On the exterior, the building presents an interesting play of volumes, highlighting the purity of its different sections. On the main façade, the entrance doorway features a semicircular arch with large voussoirs and projecting imposts, and a small coat of arms that gives way to a window. The cornice serves as the base for a distinctive bell tower, which acts as a second level on the façade.
