Christ Gate
Medieval gate of Betanzos’ historic centre, also known as Porta da Ribeira or Porta de Paio Fermoso, built in the 15th century.
This 15th-century medieval gate, located in the historic centre of Betanzos and also known as Porta da Ribeira or Porta de Paio Fermoso, connects the streets of A Ribeira and A Cerca. A crucifix and a painted cityscape with sun and moon decorate its tympanum.
